The position is a temporary database professional who will be responsible for migrating our Hook and Line Survey’s permanent database from Access into something more robust, likely Postgres.

JOB: Fish Health Technician in lab (USGS Western Fisheries Research Center in Seattle)
Searching for a Fish Health Technician in my lab (USGS Western Fisheries Research Center in Seattle). This position will be involved with our fish health related projects. Duties will include assistance with processing biological samples for histology, fish husbandry and animal care of research fish in the wet lab, fish necropsy and parasitological examinations, preparing samples for PCR and genetic sequencing, and preparing oral/written reports for research projects.
