Alumni Career Panels in April

The C&IC and UWAA are hosting two virtual alumni panels in April as part of our alumni panel series! This event is open to all UW students and alumni, though UWT students/alumni will need to email cicmentor@uw.edu for access:

Career Journeys of Former International Students (4/16, 4-5pm)
Careers in Public Health, co-hosted with the School of Public Health (4/22, 4-5pm)

 
Both panels with start with a moderated discussion and end with open Q&A.

LEAPS: Spring 2025 – How to prepare for life after graduation?

The LEAPS (LEarning And Professional Skills) program is back for Spring Quarter, and this quarter we’ll be focusing primarily on how to prepare for life after graduation by talking about what skills you’ll need in the workforce, how to develop those skills, and the types of opportunities (e.g., jobs, graduate school) you could pursue after graduation.

VOLUNTEER OPP (2/19, 2/20): Washington Sea Grant Crab Team

Come join Washington Sea Grant’s Crab Team’s annual bonanza to cut, weigh, and bag all 800lb of mackerel to be used across the green crab monitoring network in 2025. It can get a bit messy, but there are various jobs to choose from (some less messy than others), along with good music and even better company. Grab a friend and sign up for the fun!

SeaDawgs are back to business! We are the o-fish-al marine science RSO at the University of Washington. We invite all undergraduates to join and be a part of our marine science community on campus, including marbio, oceanography, SAFS, and more!
On Jan 22nd, in FSH 203, we will be hosting a general meeting portion from 5:00-6:00 p.m with snacks, briefly discussing important updates about SeaDawgs that you’ll want to hear, then from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
