This info session is for people who are cis women, trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming. Topics include tips on how to get started & the colleges and US Coast Guard’s requirements for entry. An overview of what to expect once you are, enrolled at Seattle Maritime Academy. Information about internships, certificates, and more. Also representation in the industry, your rights & personal safety, resources on shore and at sea, and maternity and pregnancy.
