The College of the Environment Academic Affairs Team is hiring ONE part-time Student Services & Social Media Program Assistant.
Description: Primary duties include supporting the Undergraduate Student Ambassador Program, assisting in recruitment activities and events, and managing the Undergraduate Instagram account (@uw_environment_undergrads). The Student Services Program Assistant is invited to serve as an Undergraduate Student Ambassador but is not required to do so. However, the student will be expected to assist Ambassador at events when it overlaps with work hours.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should have a genuine interest in the College’s focus on environment, sustainability, and conservation and specifically be interested in student recruitment and social media. Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize several competing tasks and projects. In addition, candidates must be comfortable with greeting and managing visitors, work well as a member of a team, communicate effectively with colleagues, exercise good judgment, be open to learning new skills, and meet deadlines.
