The multiple evolution of glowing fishes: New paper in Nature by Marine Biology alum
A new paper published in Nature Communications on the multiple evolution of glowing fishes, features alumni from the University of Washington, including Jonathan Huie, the first person to graduate from UW Marine Biology.
Now Dr. Huie, with a degree from The George Washington University, Jonathan is a co-author on the paper alongside Karly Cohen, who received her PhD at UW and is now doing a post-doc at Friday Harbor Labs. Other co-authors are Emily Carr, who was an FHL REU, as were Rene Martin (now a Professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln) and Mason Thurman (a graduate student at Clemson University).
