My name is Indira Neilson and I am the Program Director for the National Student Leadership Conference’s Environmental Science and Sustainability program held at University of British Columbia this summer. The NSLC offers pre-college summer programs for high school students facilitated by current and recently graduated college students. The NSLC’s main focus is on developing leadership capacity within ambitious young adults while introducing the wide array of career possibilities within their fields of interest.

I am looking to hire several undergraduate students and recent grads to serve as Team Advisors (TA) and Assistant Team Advisors (ATA) for my program this summer as well as NSLC’s other various programs. We are seeking applicants who study or have a significant background in environmental science disciplines, such as ecology, resource management, climate science, environmental justice, environmental engineering, environmental communication, hydrology, etc, and enjoy working with high school students. We have Environmental Science and Sustainability as well as Marine Biology at the University of British Columbia from July 9th – August 4th.

Both the TA and ATA positions are paid and include covered travel, room and board, and meals.
