Industry Mentorship Programs for Gov’t & Non-Profit Careers
Industry Mentorship Programs

APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER JAN 31 WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR WAITLIST ONLY
Industry Mentorship Programs are a great way for students to learn about an industry and explore professional development topics through small group mentoring (3-6 students per mentor). Through regular meetings, participants will gain insight and guidance about a particular industry, explore topics related to professional preparation, networking and feedback, and reflect on how their experiences and interests can translate to a career in the field.
This is not an internship program or experiential learning program. The heart of this program lies in career discussions between an industry professional and a small group of students. The content of mentor meetings differs group to group, but mentors and students will collaboratively set topics to discuss. The students that benefit most from this program are inquisitive and engaged, with an open-minded orientation to their future careers.
