A day in the life of an undergrad: Instagram takeover with Cali
Spending next summer studying sea turtles and marine mammals in Croatia, Marine Biology undergrad Cali took over our Instagram, for a ‘day in the life’ feature.
Hi guys! Thanks for tuning into my takeover yesterday. Just in case you missed it, I shared some information about IFE’s and studying abroad. I would love if more people from UW would be in Croatia with me studying sea turtles and marine mammals!
One of the things I showed during the takeover was a lab field trip for Fish 270, where we are measuring to what extent antibiotic resistant bacteria is present in the bodies of water surrounding Seattle. Fish 270, is the second class I am taking with Professor Guzmán and he always plans great interactive field trips.
I ended my day with a run to Gasworks park enjoying the view along the Burke Gilman trial. If you haven’t been yet, it’s super pretty and I highly recommend it.
Lastly I joined @ceramicsclubatuw for a Thursday night wheel throwing session. It’s always super fun and a great way to wind down the day. You can check out some of the pieces I have made @Calis.customs.
Feel free to reach out and ask me more questions — I might not have all the answers but can definitely steer you to who might!
