Ken Sebens and James W. Murray have a program to teach BIOL 433 and OCN 330 Fall Quarter at the UW Rome Center. Italian 101 will also be offered. We feel this will be an excellent study abroad opportunity for students in the marine biology Major/Minor programs to experience living in Italy for a quarter and satisfying two course requirements for Marine Biology.

The core material in the classes will be the same as regular UW offerings but with examples from the Mediterranean and Black Sea region. Three exciting field trips will focus on Marine Biology.

Application

All students at UW apply to programs online through the UW Study Abroad website. The application deadline is February 15, 2024.
