Course Description
Applications to biological and natural resource problems stressing the formulation and interpretation of statistical tests. Random variables, expectations, variances, binomial, hypergeometric, Poisson, normal, chi-square, “t” and “F” distributions.
Note: Hybrid course has recorded lectures and in-person labs.
Registration restrictions: Students who have not completed a MATH 120 course can register for this class if they: 1) Complete the MATH 124 placement test at https://sites.math.washington.edu/~gsp/, 2) Take a screenshot of the results, and 3) Send results to cqs@uw.edu.
