Course Description

Explores the diverse and integral ecological roles played by marine mammals in nearly all of our global aquatic ecosystems, from coastal and riverine to open ocean and deep ocean environments. Includes the study of evolutionary adaptations, evolutionary strategies, and ecological roles of marine mammals. Covers key ecological principles including food web dynamics, migrations, and ecological drivers of evolutionary change in marine mammals.

Registration restrictions: 5th Year, Seniors, Juniors only Period 1; AFS, MARBIO, ACE majors only Period 1; AFS & MARBIO Juniors, Seniors only through junior registration
