Course Description

Covers how novel marine ecosystems arise from extinctions, introductions, climate change, and habitat change. Students apply fundamental ecological concepts to investigate novel ecosystem dynamics and management. Uses place-based, field-based, and project-based learning. Teaches hands-on scientific and professional skills in ecological theory and practice.
