Course Description
Focuses on fundamental physiology, with an emphasis on processes relevant to living in a variety of aquatic environments. Includes a broad survey of taxa, from prokaryotes to mammals, and a variety of aquatic habitats. Prerequisite: BIOL 200.
Co-lists: co-listed with FISH 270 and OCEAN 270. Taking any of FISH/MARBIO/OCEAN 270 counts as the same course with the same instructor; only difference is the registration restrictions for different sections.
Registration restrictions:
MARBIO 270: MARBIO, AFS, OCEAN majors only Period 1
FISH 270: MARBIO, AFS, OCEAN, ACE majors only Period 1
OCEAN 270: MARBIO, AFS, OCEAN majors only Period 1
Major requirements: Physiology (specialized alternative to complete the general biology series to BIOL 220)
