If you are considering applying to the University of Washington, we would love to meet you when you visit campus. Please contact us at least two weeks before your visit if you would like to:

  • Meet the Marine Biology Adviser: Learn more about the program and our community. Get answers to your questions about marine biology at UW. Family members are welcome to join us for this meeting.
  • Meet with advisers for related majors: Compare and contrast the various marine science programs at UW to determine which one might be the best fit for your interests and career goals.
  • Sit in on a class lecture: availability depends on time of year and quarter. Contact the Marine Biology Adviser to check for available courses

We also recommend that you schedule a UW Admissions information session & campus tour: This is a great way to see the campus and get answers to questions regarding the admissions process.

Freshmen offered admission for autumn quarter are encouraged to attend UW Admitted Student Preview Days annually in April. The College of the Environment hosts information sessions on select days in April, including hosted lab tours. Details will be emailed to admitted students who select a College of the Environment major on their applications.
