Joe Kobayashi is an experienced counselor and academic program manager with over 8 years of experience at the UW College of the Environment. He provides academic advising, departmental career counseling, and academic program management for UW Marine Biology.

  • Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 pm, closed from 12:00 – 1:00 pm
  • Prospective students and families can meet with the adviser as part of a campus visit
  • Current students are encouraged to review & update their current Academic MyPlan ahead of appointments

The Fishery Sciences Building is located on the Southwest side of the University of Washington campus along Pacific Avenue. The advising office is located in the School of Aquatic & Fishery Sciences Administrative Suite on the ground floor in suite 116. Students can check in with the front desk reception upon arrival.
