Friday Harbor Labs Summer Internships

UW-Friday Harbor Labs is reaching out to undergrads who might be interested in a full immersion, hands-on summer internship focused on the marine sciences. UW-Friday Harbor Labs is now accepting applications for summer internships for our NSF REU and BEACON program internships. This UW campus is located in the San Juan Islands.

The finances are attractive

We pay ALL expenses associated with the program, including round-trip travel to San Juan Island, WA, two months of stipend, all room and board, plus $500 to attend a national conference to present research results.

Student evaluations are strong

Anonymous surveys show that students have enjoyed and benefitted from the program. Nearly all of the summer 2015 interns will be presenting their research findings at the SICB national conference in January.
